Soroptimist International of Omihachiman is established as a third club in Shiga prefecture Japan sponsored by Soroptimist International of Otsu in 1988.
SI-Omihachiman belongs to Soroptimist International of the Americas Japan Chuo Region.
SI-Omihachiman has been conducting outreach to improve the lives of women and girls in the region and the world.
November 2018, celebrated its 30 anniversary.
